GG Don was established in 1963 by Graham Don, in the garage behind his home on Main North Road, Christchurch, mainly as a plumber doing a small amount of commercial work.
Sheetmetal work was done on a small scale, mainly for our own jobs, but grew as time went by into employing a sheetmetal worker full time.
The roofing side of the firm was established about the time of moving to Radcliffe Road, Belfast, in 1973. The Christchurch Town Hall copper roof and the QEII stadium roof were the larger contracts at the time.
Graham Don died in 1980 and the firm was then run by his trustees.
The move to our premises at 73 Sturrocks Road, Christchurch, took place in 1984, and the purchase of a 6 metre brake for flashings followed.
We now offer a fully-integrated plumbing, roofing and sheetmetal service for both commercial and private customers.
We're proud to support the Police Managers' Guild Trust
